Ruwana treats model identity as an explicit production source rather than asking each generation to invent a new person. In PRO, a production can use either a curated Ruwana Model or a private saved Custom Model, while product, garment, location and other visual references remain separate inputs with their own production roles.

Private Custom Models
Custom Models are private synthetic adult identities saved to the customer's own library with a stable model ID for repeated production use. They are persistent model identities, not a text-only description recreated from scratch for every shot.
One identity source
A PRO production chooses one model source at a time: a Ruwana Model or a private Custom Model. Product and visual references do not replace or redefine that selected identity.
PRO photographic direction
PRO combines the selected identity with reference fidelity, scene and action, styling, model performance, light, composition and camera intent to produce a coherent commercial or editorial photograph.
Video Bind
Ruwana Video can attach selected model identity and other visual elements to image-to-video production, including Multi-Shot workflows. Public Video API execution remains separate from the PRO Platform contract.
Platform status: Ruwana PRO is live at
POST /v1/pro/generate. Clients can create private Custom Models through the authenticated /v1/models workflow and reuse the resulting stable mdl_... identity in PRO. Ruwana Video is also live on Platform with identity continuity available through its documented Bind contract.Why this matters for production
Identity continuity is useful only when it stays separate from the commercial decisions of each new shot.
Keep identity stable
Select the model once as the identity source, then change scene, styling, product, pose and photographic direction without pretending those choices are part of the person's identity.
Keep references explicit
Garments, accessories, products and locations remain role-specific references so fidelity requirements can be stated clearly for each production.
Direct the new photograph
For a genuinely new pose, frame or shot, PRO rebuilds the photograph from the selected identity and original production inputs rather than treating a previous final image as the identity definition.
